i've been working to attain my goal of being a fitness model. i've only been training for a month, but i've already started to get pretty solid. i was just wondering if anyone had any advice to help me along the way. tips on how to get my foot in the door, so to speak. also, i have a non-typical body shape. my upper body is small (small A-cup chest), but my lower half is proportionally larger. no matter how much cardio i do, my but and thighs don't seem to get much smaller. they just get more ripped. is this bad? BTW, a FITNESS model isn't one of this stick-thin models in fashion magazines. they're the ripped, totally fit women you see in FLEX magazine, Muscular Development, and those types.
I am thinking about becoming a fitness model. I love to workout. I just want to know what I have to do in order to become. My ultimate goal is to be on the cover of a magazine. How do I do that? Can you guys help me?
How do I become a fitness model? Not a body builder in Oxygen magazine, just like those models in Shape demo'ing exercises.I think it'd be cool to be in Shape or Self magazine to demonstrate exercises. How does one go about doing that?

I know they probably get paid by the job, so how much is it on average. -The women that pose in Flex magazine and other fitness magazines like that.

I am in good shape and actually am considering becoming a personal trainer myself, however I still have trouble obtaining what I would call the "ideal" body, either lifting weights too often and having some muscles become too big in proportion to my body or not lifting enough and feeling a lack of muscle, I am hoping that people on here can point me to some resources to obtain a male model / fitness model type physique.. everything seems to be geared towards bodybuilding which I have no interest in as I don't want to put on weight and become "huge".

i have done a lot to get the body i have now (although the progress is never ending) and i want to make something out of myself, and get into fitness modeling in san diego. i am 175 lbs and about 9% body fat. can anyone give me any info?!

Here's the thing: my mom is very pretty and she is in great shape. She goes to the gym every day and really cares about her health and body. My family has been running low on money lately and she doesn't have a job. She has been talking about doing like fitness modeling but seems discouraged for some reason. I love her a lot and I want to give her some agencies or stuff that she can look at to get started. She does so many things for me. She spends $90 a week for my voice and $200 a month for my guitar lessons. She is constantly giving, a mother of four children and hasn't gone shopping for herself in a year (no lie.) The only thing she does for herself is eat right and go to the gym. I really want to make this happen for her. Anyways, if anyone knows any model searches that are happening in 2010 around New York for older women (preferably fitness modeling) could you post a link or something? Thanks a bunch in advance:)
I am currently 13% body fat and need to get cut fast. My photo shoott is in 2 weeks and I seem to have platoed please let me know good ideas for something to do for 2 weeks before I have my photo shoot. Thanks!!!! Thanks guys!!!! Keep all ideas coming!
